Some couples dream about the dry lake bed at sunset with nothing around for miles. Some have pictured the pink Cadillac and the little white chapel since before they even met. I photograph both, and I love both.

I get a lot of messages that start with some version of, "I know you shoot the desert, but we booked a chapel, is that okay?" It's more than okay. I'm a Las Vegas native. Chapel weddings are the most Vegas thing there is, and they photograph beautifully: the vintage signs, the tiny pews, the Cadillac, the Strip waiting right outside in your wedding clothes.

So whatever eloping means to you, a chapel ceremony, an outdoor ceremony with an officiant and champagne, or just the two of you and a marriage license somewhere unexpected, you're in the right place.

You book the chapel, I photograph everything around it. Getting ready, arriving, the ceremony itself when the chapel welcomes outside photographers, and portraits at the chapel sign and the pink Cadillac after. Priced hourly, so it fits any size of chapel day.

One hour, everything handled: the location permit, a ceremony by licensed Nevada officiant Michelle Brown, my photography, a witness if you need one, your song on a speaker, and champagne. From around $2,000. See everything that's included.

What if the chapel doesn't allow outside photographers?

This is the question I hear most, usually asked a little sadly, like it settles things. It doesn't. Some chapels welcome outside photographers right into the ceremony, and some only allow their own. Either way, you can still have me.

When the chapel allows me inside, I'm there for all of it. The chapel ceremony photos on this page are mine, taken right from the pews.

When it doesn't, we make a plan instead, and honestly, couples tell me these become their favorite photos of the day:

  • Portraits before your ceremony, at the chapel sign, the famous vintage cars, and around the grounds.
  • Your walk in and your walk out, the champagne pop, the confetti, whatever your chapel day includes.
  • Then we go play. The Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the fountains, the Strip at golden hour, or straight out to the desert, still in your wedding clothes.

Chapel elopement photography is priced hourly: $350 for a single hour, $300 per hour when you book two or more. Book your chapel time first, then tell me your plan and I'll help you build the photo side of it.

For couples who want the desert without the paperwork, Michelle and I built a package that covers all of it: the location permit, a legally binding ceremony, the photography, a witness if you need one, ceremony music, and champagne the second it's official.

One hour, starting around $2,000, at places like Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, and the dry lake beds. Booking is open now, with the first available dates starting November 10, 2026.

The practical stuff

Do you photograph chapel weddings in Las Vegas?

Yes, and I love them. Book your chapel and your ceremony time first, then reach out with the details. I photograph at chapels all over Las Vegas, from the famous ones on the Strip and Las Vegas Boulevard to the small ones you found on a whim.

What if our chapel doesn’t allow outside photographers?

You can still hire me. Many chapels only allow their own photographer during the ceremony, so we plan around it: portraits at the chapel before, and then a session after at the chapel sign, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the Strip, or the desert. Couples consistently tell me those photos end up being their favorites of the whole day.

How much does elopement photography cost?

Do you offer a package with an officiant included?

Yes. Michelle Brown, a licensed Nevada officiant, and I offer all inclusive outdoor elopements: the location permit, the ceremony, my photography, a witness if you need one, music, and champagne, starting around $2,000 for one hour.

Do we need to bring a witness?

No. Nevada requires one witness at the ceremony and it can’t be the officiant, but it can be your photographer. If I’m photographing your elopement, I can be your witness. Bring your own if there’s someone you want standing there, and if it’s just the two of you, it’s covered. The full rules are in my guide to the Nevada witness rule.

Do we need a marriage license to elope in Las Vegas?

Yes, whether you marry at a chapel or in the desert. Both of you go in person to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau at 201 E. Clark Ave downtown, open 8:00 AM to midnight every day of the year. The fee is $102, bring photo ID, and you can start the application online. There’s no waiting period, and the license is good for a year.

Can we do photos on a different day than our ceremony?

Absolutely. Day after sessions are one of my favorite things to shoot: you put the wedding clothes back on and we go somewhere beautiful with no schedule pressing on us, like Red Rock, the dry lake beds, or the Strip at golden hour. They’re priced at the same hourly rate.
