I'm awkward in front of a camera too, so I know exactly what it feels like and exactly how to fix it. I use prompts instead of poses, I quietly handle whatever you're self conscious about, and I take responsibility for making you look good. You don't have to figure anything out. Come awkward. I'll prove you wrong.

Me. I'm the person you meet at the consultation, and I'm the photographer at your wedding. I never send an associate in my place unless we've specifically arranged that together. If you add a professional second shooter, that's an established photographer shooting at my level who could take over if the worst ever happened.

Yes, every edited photo. I shoot generously and cull carefully, and I never remove anything I think you'd want. If you want a number, expect at least 60 edited images per hour of coverage. That's a deliberately conservative estimate, and I consistently beat it.

Your contract allows eight weeks. I try my best to deliver within two. Photos arrive in an online gallery with full printing and posting rights.

No. You get all of your digital images with full print rights, and you can print them anywhere you like. I do suggest a professional lab, and some products can be ordered straight from your gallery. Albums are always available, even years later.

They're free with wedding packages of eight hours or more, and I strongly encourage them. That's where the awkward part gets burned off, weeks before the wedding. On their own, engagement sessions are $500 for an hour and a half. If you truly can't fit one in, I'll usually swap it for an extra hour of wedding day or rehearsal dinner coverage.

A $500 deposit and a signed contract lock in your date, and the balance isn't due until a month before the wedding. I hold dates for couples whose venue is booked, so get your venue confirmed first, then reach out. I also won't have you sign at our first meeting. Go home, think about it, and I'll email the contract if you decide to go ahead.

Weddings happen rain or shine, and rain isn't something that keeps me from being there. I'll bring some cute clear umbrellas and we'll make the best of it. For sessions that can move, like engagements, if the forecast is bad and both our calendars allow it, we reschedule for free. And from experience: more than half of my Florida photos were taken in less than perfect weather, and they're still beautiful.

In 17 years I have never missed one of my weddings. I could have a broken limb and I'd still be there, with extra help hired to compensate. When a second shooter is booked, that person is always a professional who could take over as lead. Even without one, I have a wide network of trusted photographers locally and across the country who could step in if the absolute worst happened.

Yes, and I love it. There's never a travel fee in Clark County, and surrounding Nevada and Southern California are often no fee either. Farther away, I charge only actual travel costs, and I keep them low so I can travel often. I've photographed weddings in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Scotland, and Paris, plus cruise ships. Always ask.

Absolutely. I've photographed Indian weddings where one day ended at 1:00 AM and the next started at 5:00 AM. If you're willing to do it, I'm willing to do it. Coverage past 12 hours is priced a little differently, and I'll explain it up front.

Yes, yes, and yes. I love LGBTQ+ couples and would happily photograph a lot more of those weddings. I post photos of all of my beautiful brides, no matter their size. I've photographed weddings across all kinds of religions, cultures, and ethnicities, including many biracial couples. If you need an accommodation of any kind, I'll make it work.

I don't alter how you look. Editing corrects brightness, white balance, and color so the photos look the way the moment actually looked. Light and airy, natural, not over edited. The photo before and after editing shouldn't look very different. You're beautiful. You just need me to show you.

Yes, that's part of it. We talk timeline at the first meeting and lock it in on a planning call about a month before the wedding. We build your family shot list together, and I'll give you realistic expectations for how long family photos take. I deliberately keep shot lists to family groupings and anything unusual, because the standard moments get captured no matter what, and working from a long checklist steals time from your day.
